A Sea Where Everyone Lives in Harmony

みんなが仲良く暮らす海

どうやら、3匹のペンギンが
何やら話し込んでいるようです。

どうも、自分たちの暮らす世界を
紹介したいらしいのです。

ペンギンたちが言うには、
ここは少し特別な海。

みんなが思い思いに泳ぎながら、
穏やかに、仲良く、幸せに暮らしています。

海の中をそっと覗いてみると、
いろいろな生き物たちが
のんびりと同じ時間を過ごしています。

空の星たちも、
そんな世界をそっと見守っています。

シロクマもラッコも、
プカプカと気持ちよさそうに浮いています。

……と思ったら、あれ……

あまりにも居心地がよさそうに
感じたのでしょうか……

アザラシとラッコたちは、
どうやらここをお風呂と間違えて、
やって来てしまったようです……

It seems that three penguins
are deep in conversation.

Apparently, they would like to introduce
the world they live in.

According to the penguins,
this is a rather special sea.

Everyone swims in their own way,
living together peacefully,
happily, and in harmony.

If you take a quiet peek beneath the surface,
you will find all kinds of creatures
spending their time together at ease.

Even the stars above
quietly watch over this world.

The polar bear and the otters
are floating contentedly on the water.

…But wait, what is this…

Perhaps it simply felt
too warm and inviting to resist…

It seems that the seals and otters
mistook this place for a bath
and wandered in…

※時々、無性に
海の中の作品を作りたくなることがあります。

本当の魚は少し怖く感じることがあるのですが、
なぜかイルカやクジラはとても好きで、
見ているだけで癒されます。

そんな世界を作ってみたいと思いながら、
少し面白さも加えて、
自分の中で「こうしたら楽しいかな」と考えながら
この作品を作りました。

少し異世界のようでもありますが、
こういう世界を作るときに、
私の中でいつも軸にしているのは「平和」です。

ここでは、
生き物たちがみんな仲良く過ごしている。
そんな世界を思い描きながら作っています。

※Sometimes, I suddenly feel like
creating a piece set under the sea.

Real fish can sometimes feel a little frightening to me,
but for some reason,
I really love dolphins and whales,
and simply looking at them makes me feel calm.

Wanting to create that kind of world,
I also added a little playfulness,
thinking to myself,
“This might be fun.”

It may feel a little like another world,
but whenever I create a world like this,
the idea at its center is always “peace.”

Here,
all the creatures live together in harmony.

That is the kind of world
I imagine when I create these pieces.
