あなたを見つけるたび、
胸の奥は
何度でもキュンとする…。

会えない日も、
ふとした瞬間に
あなたを思い出してしまう。

街の中で、
似た後ろ姿を見つけるだけでも、
少しだけ
心が騒いでしまう。

だから、
こうしてあなたを見つけた日は、
嬉しくて、
ちゃんと残しておきたくて、

カメラを向けながら、
また今日も思う。

あなたが好き…。

どうしようもないくらい、好き…。

You Make My Heart Flutter

Every time I find you,
my heart flutters all over again…

Even on the days I can’t see you,
you suddenly appear in my thoughts.

Sometimes,
just seeing someone with a similar back view
in the middle of the city
makes my heart race a little.

So when I finally find you like this,
I feel so happy
that I want to keep the moment forever.

As I quietly lift my camera toward you,
I find myself thinking again…

I like you…

So much that
I don’t know what to do with my heart…

※憧れの人を見つけたり、
ふいに目の前に現れたりしたときの、
ドキッとするような気持ち。

私はどちらかというと受け身だったので、
心の中ではそういう気持ちがあっても、
なかなか表には出せませんでした。

だからこそ、
そんな自分とは少し違う、
ストレートに気持ちを言葉にできる女の子の姿を
描いてみたいと思い、
この作品を作りました。

※That sudden fluttering feeling
when you spot someone you admire,
or when they unexpectedly appear right in front of you.

I tended to be rather passive,
so even when I had those feelings inside,
I found it difficult to show them openly.

Perhaps because of that,
I wanted to portray a girl
who is a little different from me—
someone who can express her feelings openly and directly.

That is how I created this piece.
