手紙がつないでくれた二人

遠く離れた場所で暮らす二人…

何度も手紙を交わしながら、
少しずつ
お互いを知っていった…

一通、また一通と届く手紙が、
二人の距離を
少しずつ近づけてくれた…

そして、
ある日届いた
一通の手紙…

「会いませんか？」

その一通の手紙から、
二人は初めて
同じ景色へ向かった…

Two people
living far apart…

As they exchanged
letter after letter,
they slowly
came to know
each other…

With each letter,
their hearts
grew a little
closer…

Then one day,
a letter arrived…

“Would you
like to meet me?”

From that
one letter,

they headed
toward the same view
for the first time…

※ この作品は、手紙をお互いにやり取りしていくうちに、
知らない間に少しずつ相手のことが気になっていく――
そんなイメージを浮かべながら作りました。

文通を重ねていく中で、
少しずつ手紙の回数も増え、
それとともに相手への思いも募っていく。

そんな気持ちの変化を、
この作品で表現しました。

through the letters they exchange.

As their correspondence continues,
the number of letters slowly increases,
and along with it,
their feelings for one another begin to grow.

I expressed that gradual change of feeling in this piece.
