Light Ahead…

光を目指して…

山を登りながら、
ふと気づいた。

車で進める道もある。

でも、
人生には時に、
険しい山が立ちはだかることもある。

立ち止まり、
時には道に迷いながらも…

それでも、
一歩ずつ踏みしめて進む。

疲れた時は、
焚き火で心を温めながら…

そうして歩き続けていると、

やがて、
光が見えてくる…

Light Ahead…

While climbing the mountain,
I suddenly realized something.

Some roads can be traveled by car.

But sometimes in life,
a steep mountain stands in our way.

We stop.
Sometimes,
we lose our way…

Even so,

we take one step,
and then another.

When we grow tired,
we warm our hearts by the campfire…

And if we keep walking,

one day,

the light comes into view…

※これまで歩んできた人生、
そしてこれから待ち受けている人生について、
いろいろ考えたときに、
いつも順調ではないことも、
また人生の一つなのかなと思いました。

やはり試練が立ちはだかることがあり、
そのときには心がズタズタになることもあります。

そういうことも全部ひっくるめて、
どういう形で表現したらいいかなと思ったときに、
「山を登る」という形で
一度表してみたいと思い、
作った作品です。

※When I thought about
the life I have lived so far
and the life still ahead of me,
I felt that things not always going smoothly
may also be part of life.

There are times when trials stand in our way,
and sometimes they can leave our hearts deeply hurt.

When I wondered how I could express
all of those things together,
I wanted to try representing them
through the image of climbing a mountain.

That is how I created this piece.
