彼との記憶の断片をつなぎ止めたくて、
自分の気持ちを確かめたくて、
彼女は思い出の場所を訪れた…

彼との時間は、
決して短くなかった…

なかなか会えなくても、
何度も手紙を交わすうちに、
お互いのことを知り、
いつの間にか心惹かれ合っていた…

彼がいるかもしれないと思い、
その場所に立っていると、
彼の好きなコーヒー豆の香りが
漂ってきた…

その香りを感じたと同時に、
自分の名前を呼ぶ声が聞こえた…

「あ、彼だ」と思って振り返ると、
蝶がドアの向こうへ
出ていこうとしていた…

Fragments of Our Memories

Wanting to hold on to the fragments
of her memories with him and to make
sure of her own feelings, she visited
the place filled with their memories…

The time she had shared with him had
never been short…

Even though they could not meet
often, as they exchanged letter after
letter, they came to know each other,
and before they knew it, they had
fallen for one another…

As she stood there, thinking that he
might be there, the scent of his
favorite coffee beans drifted toward
her…

At the same moment she caught the
scent, she heard a voice calling her
name…

Thinking, “Ah, it’s him,” she turned
around and saw a butterfly about to
fly out through the door…

ひとつの物語として仕上げました。
