折り鶴への願い

来てくれるかもしれない。
そう思って、彼女は待っていた。

遠くへ行くかもしれないことも
わかっていたけれど、
それでも少しだけ、
来てくれることを願っていた。

けれど、彼は来なかった…

彼女への想いを胸に残したまま、
彼は夢を追って
旅立っていった。

彼女は赤い折り鶴に
ひとつの願いを込める。

いつかまた、
彼と会えますように…

She thought that he might come.
So she waited for him.

She knew that he might go far away,
but even so,
a small part of her still hoped
that he would come.

But he never did…

Still carrying his feelings for her
in his heart,
he followed his dream
and set off on his journey.

She placed a single wish
in a red origami crane.

may she meet him again…
