扇…

ある殿方が、
かねてより心を寄せる姫君へ、
季節を重ねながら、
何度も文をしたためてきた…

その想いは薄れることなく、
時を重ねるほど、
深くなっていく…

開いた扇と、
閉じたままの扇…

幾重にも重なる文を
何度も読み返すうちに、
姫君の心にも、
いつしか殿方からの文を
待ちわびる想いが
芽生えはじめる…

A nobleman had long held feelings
for a noble lady,
writing to her again and again
as the seasons passed…

His feelings never faded,
but grew deeper
with the passing of time…

An open fan,
and another still closed…

As she reads his many letters
over and over,
a longing begins to grow in her heart—
until she finds herself waiting
for the next letter from him…

※この作品は、
初めてシール素材を自分で作って使った作品です。

ただ、十二単の女性については、
友達のお母さまが描かれた絵を
使わせていただきました。

背景には、
十二単の重なりのようなレイヤーを出したくて、
私の好きな和紙も使っています。

そして、
二人の淡い恋のようなものを
表現しました。

※This is the first piece
in which I created and used my own sticker materials.

However, for the woman wearing a jūnihitoe,
I used a drawing created by my friend’s mother.

For the background,
I also used Japanese washi paper that I love,
to create layers reminiscent of
the overlapping robes of a jūnihitoe.

Through these elements,
I expressed the gentle feeling
of love between the two.
