海辺を歩いていると、どこからか流れ着いた一つのガラスの小瓶を見つけた。

まるで誰かに見つけてほしいと願うように、その小瓶は柔らかな光をまとっていた。

中には1876年のパリの思い出と、誰かが綴った恋文のような手紙。

どうやらその想いは、最後まで相手に伝えられなかったのかもしれない。

長い年月を超えて私のもとへ届いたその手紙には、一人の女性を深く愛した気持ちと、伝えきれなかった言葉が綴られていた。

もしあの日、最後に会った時に勇気を出して想いを伝えていたら——

As I walked along the shore, I found a small glass jar that had drifted in from somewhere far away.

As if longing to be found by someone, the little jar was wrapped in a soft glow.

Inside were memories of Paris in 1876 and what seemed to be a love letter written by someone long ago.

It felt as though those feelings had never reached the person they were meant for.

The letter, which had somehow reached me across the passage of time, held the deep love he had carried for one woman and the words he had never been able to tell her.
