1923年から届いた手紙…

ある日、
1923年の日付が記された
古い手紙が見つかった…

まるで遠い昔から、
小さなウサギが
そっと運んできてくれたようだった…

その手紙を開いた瞬間、
幼い頃の記憶が
静かによみがえった…

引っ込み思案だった私は、
先生に「ありがとう」と伝えることにも、
大きな勇気が必要だった…

そんな私のそばには、
いつも小さなウサギが
寄り添ってくれていた…

そして、あの日…

ウサギと一緒に、
先生の家の前までやって来た…

今から、
先生に「ありがとう」を伝えに行こう…

大人になった今、
あらためて思う…

あの日の私は、
たった一言の「ありがとう」を伝えるために、
小さな胸いっぱいの勇気を
集めていたのだと…

A Letter from 1923…

One day,
I came across an old letter
dated 1923…

It felt as though
a little rabbit had gently carried it to me
from a distant time…

The moment I opened the letter,
a childhood memory
quietly returned…

I had been such a shy little girl
that even telling my teacher “thank you”
required so much courage…

My little rabbit was always beside me,
gently staying close…

And on that day…

Together,
we finally arrived
in front of my teacher’s house…

Now,
let’s go and tell her “thank you”…

Looking back now,
as an adult,
I realize…

That little girl had gathered
all the courage her small heart could hold,
just to say one simple “thank you”…

※ この作品では、色鉛筆、ハサミ、ピンセット、
角度の違う2本のカッターナイフを使っています。

PETシールや人物のペーパーシールは、
特に縁をできるだけぎりぎりまで細かく切り、
背景の中に自然に溶け込むように意識しながら
一つひとつ貼っています。

貼り付けには、いつもテープのりを使っています。

そして、この「K」はお友達からいただいたもの。
とても気に入っていて、大切に使っています。

※ For this piece, I used colored pencils, scissors,
tweezers, and two craft knives with different blade angles.

With PET stickers and paper stickers featuring figures,
I carefully trim the edges as closely as possible
and place each piece with the aim of making it blend
naturally into the background.

I usually use a tape runner to attach the pieces.

And this little “K” was a gift from a friend.
It is one of my favorites, and I treasure it.
