A Little Courage…

小さな勇気…

伝えたい気持ちは、
ずっと前からあったのに…

彼女の前に立つたび、
胸がどきどきして、
どうしても勇気が出なかった…

それでも今日は、

小さな花をそっと後ろに隠しながら、
やっと彼女の前まで来た…

何度も深呼吸して、

「今日こそは…」

そう心の中で繰り返しながら…

そして彼女もまた、

彼が近づいてくるたびに、

今日は何か言ってくれるのかな…

そんな期待と不安で、
胸をそわそわさせている…

The feelings he wanted to share
had been there for a long time…

Yet every time he stood before her,
his heart beat too fast,
and he could never find the courage…

But today,

carefully hiding a small flower
behind his back,

he finally gathered enough courage
to walk up to her…

Taking deep breaths again and again,

quietly telling himself,

“Today will be the day…”

And she too,

every time he comes closer,

cannot help wondering,

“Will he finally say something today?”

Her heart fluttering
with hope and uncertainty…

※ 今回の作品では、手紙の部分をすべて自分で手書きして作りました。

普段の作品でも、市販の素材だけを使うのではなく、
画用紙などを使って自分でパーツを作ったり、
必要に応じて少し工作を加えたりすることがあります。

今回は特に、そうした手作りの部分を取り入れながら
作品を仕上げました。

※ For this piece, I created all of the letters by hand.

In my work, I do not always rely only on ready-made materials.
I sometimes make my own elements using drawing paper
or add small handmade details when needed.

For this piece in particular,
I incorporated more of these handmade elements
as I brought the collage together.
