少しだけ大人になった気分…

ずっと、かわいいドレスを着てみたいと
思っていた女の子…

そんな女の子のために、
羊のおばあちゃんが夜な夜な、
少しずつドレスを縫ってくれた…

ある朝、目を覚ますと、
そこにはずっと憧れていたドレスが…

そっと袖を通してみると、
なんだか少しだけ大人になった気分…

いつもの朝なのに、
今日は少し違って見えた…

窓の外には…

A Little More Grown-Up…

A little girl had always dreamed of
wearing a beautiful dress…

For her,
Grandma Sheep spent night after night
sewing the dress little by little…

One morning, when the girl woke up,
there it was—
the dress she had always dreamed of…

She gently slipped it on,
and somehow,
she felt just a little more grown-up…

It was the same morning as always,
and yet today,
everything looked a little different…

Beyond the window…

※私は幼い頃から、
きれいでおしゃれな洋服や、
かわいいドレスにとても憧れていました。

まさにこの女の子が着ているようなドレスも、
そんな憧れの一つです。

そういう思いから、
こういうドレスで何か作品を作れないかなと思い、
この作品を思いつきました。

※Ever since I was young,
I have always admired beautiful, stylish clothes
and pretty dresses.

A dress like the one this girl is wearing
is exactly the kind of dress I admired.

With those feelings in mind,
I wondered if I could create something
using a dress like this,
and that is how I came up with this piece.
