長い船旅の向こうに…

愛する人を乗せた船を、
彼女は静かに見送った。

「I will always cherish you.」

これからもずっと、
あなたを大切に想っている。

長い船旅の果てに、
いつかまた会えますように…

その願いを胸に、
彼女は遠ざかる船をいつまでも見つめていた…

She quietly watched the ship carrying the one she loved sail away.

“I will always cherish you.”

I will always hold you dear.

At the end of the long voyage,
may we meet again someday…

Holding that wish in her heart,
she watched the ship disappear into the distance…

※今回は、この船のシールを見たときに、
誰かを見送っているようなイメージが
ふと浮かびました。

そこから、
その雰囲気に合う女性のシールを選びました。

彼女の思いをどう表現しようかと考えながら、
切手や手紙など、
ほかのシールも重ねていきました。

私の中では、
この先の二人の行方も思い描きながら、
それぞれのシールに思いを込めています。

遠ざかっていく船の向こうに、
この先どんな物語が続いていくのか…

そんな余韻も、
そっと感じてもらえたら嬉しいです。

※This time,
when I saw the ship sticker,
an image of someone seeing another person off
suddenly came to mind.

From there,
I chose a woman whose image
seemed to suit that atmosphere.

As I thought about how to express her feelings,
I layered stamps, letters,
and other stickers into the piece.

In my mind,
I imagined what might lie ahead
for the two of them
and put those thoughts into each of the stickers.

Beyond the ship sailing into the distance,
what kind of story might continue from here…?

I hope you can quietly feel
a little of that lingering sense
within the piece.
