Forest Concert /

A cheerful concert
began in the forest.

Drawn by the music,
the animals began to gather.

Some even joined in
and started performing.

The animals camping
up on the hill
were drawn by the cheerful sounds too
and headed for the concert.

Meanwhile,
the frog was working hard
to grill a fish.

“The fish is ready!”

The frog turned around and…

“Oh…
no one’s here…”

And the little wild boar,
with the freshly grilled fish in its mouth,
headed for the best seat…

※When I saw the stickers
of the large panda, penguin,
and other animals,
I thought I would like to create
a piece themed around a concert.

I wanted to express
a cheerful and peaceful atmosphere,
with all kinds of animals gathering
and having fun together.

Those who have been following my work
for some time may already know this,
but whenever I create
one of these cute and playful pieces,
I always try to include
a little humorous twist somewhere.

I enjoy adding a small detail
that might make someone smile or chuckle.

This time, after wondering
what kind of twist to include,
I decided to portray a cute little incident
involving the frog who had been grilling fish
and the young wild boar
who carries one of the fish away
to the concert.

I hope you will enjoy
this forest concert,
including its little touch of humor.
