いつも手の中にあったものを、
うっかり手放してしまった日…

それは転がりながら、
森の奥へと消えていった…

もう手は届かない…

当たり前にあったものは、
当たり前じゃなかったと、
静かに気づいていく…

なくしてから知るぬくもりは、
少しだけ、胸を重くする…

The day he lost
what had always been in his hands…

It rolled away,
into the quiet forest…

Now it’s out of reach…

Only then did he realize
it was never something ordinary…

The warmth he lost
lingers softly in his heart…

※ この作品には、妹からもらった昔のレターセットの、
一枚しか残っていなかったレター用紙を使っています。

そのレターセットの絵の部分を切り抜いて、
今回の作品に使いました。

一度は作品として仕上げたものの、
自分の中でどうしても納得がいかず、
もう一度作り直しました。

この作品で表したかったのは、
「当たり前にあったものが、
実は当たり前ではなかったと気づくこと」。

私にとって、とてもメッセージ性の強いテーマだったので、
どうしても作品として表したくて、
もう一度試行錯誤しながら作りました。

その分、とても思い入れのある作品です。

※ This piece includes a sheet of letter paper
from an old letter set that my younger sister gave me.
It was the only sheet I had left.

I cut out part of the illustration from the letter set
and used it in this piece.

I completed the piece once,
but I was not fully satisfied with it,
so I decided to make it again.

The theme I wanted to express was
“realizing that something we once took for granted
was not something to take for granted after all.”

Because this was a theme with a very strong message for me,
I really wanted to express it through the work,
so I tried again and worked through it carefully.

For that reason,
this piece holds a very special place in my heart.
